The Backend/Integration Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Completing web development tasks to assigned deadlines.
- Communicating and updating the Line Manager with progress.
- Performing towards predetermined KPIs and OKRs.
- Hitting deadlines for all projects.
The Backend/Integration Developer will report directly to the Line Manager and will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 03 years of experience in professional Backend development with Java.
- Strong proficiency in Spring and SpringBoot frameworks.
- Good experience working with RDBMS and SQL for data storage.
- Strong understanding of Maven concepts and principles.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services (mention specific services relevant to the role).
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka architecture and functionalities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud systems, including App services and/or Azure functions.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Dockerize applications for containerization and deployment in Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with Apigee (or a willingness to learn) is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Practice Agile software development and be a great team player.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Good communication in English.
