Front-End React Developer

Responsibilities

As a Senior Front-End React Developer, you will take the lead on a crucial task that will have a direct impact on the success of our client projects:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js 14.
  • Implement Next.js-specific features such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR), API routing, and static generation.
  • Design and style responsive, cross-browser-compatible components using Tailwind CSS and TailwindUI.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Develop and publish component libraries using Storybook and Chromatic.
  • Migrate and integrate CMS from Netlify to Contentful.
  • Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for dynamic data handling.
  • Optimize images for web performance using Cloudinary or Imgix.
  • Ensure code quality and scalability by utilizing Github Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement data models and manage content with Contentful.
  • Write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or similar.
  • Collaborate on A/B testing strategies using Optimizely.
  • Conduct performance testing using Lighthouse or equivalent tools to enhance web performance.
  • Ensure the application is accessible and adheres to AA WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
  • Monitor and improve application observability using Sentry, DataDog, or similar tools.
  • Implement security best practices following OWASP guidelines.

Requirements

As a Senior Front-End React Developer, we expect you to meet the following requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with front-end development, specifically using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • Solid experience with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficiency in using CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS) and component libraries (e.g., Storybook).
  • Experience in integrating CMS platforms like Contentful.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Vercel for hosting.
  • Experience with image optimization tools like Cloudinary or Imgix.
  • Familiarity with code quality tools like SonarQube.
  • Experience with SEO optimization using tools like Semrush or Google Search Console.
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like Atlassian Jira.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing, security protocols, and accessibility standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English as you will be client-facing
  • Able to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues with existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Familiar with Trello, JIRA, Figma, etc
  • Continuously learn and improve upon technical skills and knowledge
