[Remote/Hybrid] Frontend Developer (Upper Intermediate)

Responsibilities

The Frontend Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Build pixel-perfect, slick eCommerce websites.
  • Develop clean and efficient code that adheres to best practices, while ensuring the solutions are both reusable and maintainable.
  • Consult with the design team and validate UX/UI ideas.
  • Contribute modular code to the company’s bespoke framework.
  • Enhance and optimize frontend performance.

Requirements

The Frontend Developer will report directly to the Line Manager and will possess the following attributes:

  • Rock solid HTML + CSS / SASS / LESS, proven JavaScript experience, and Tailwind CSS knowledge.
  • Experience using a Javascript framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with best practice solutions around building fast-loading and well-performing web applications.
  • Web animations (CSS transitions, SVG animation, GSAP and/or AnimeJS a plus!)
  • Ability to work with various APIs to fetch receive/post data.
  • Good understanding of Core Web Vitals for sending metrics(LCP, INP, CLS) and optimizing them.
  • Familiarity with Git as a version control tool.
  • English fluency, written and spoken.

Nice to have: 

  • Familiarity with Vue 3 Composition API.
  • Familiarity with Nuxt 3 and/or Next.js (including handling proxy requests within SSR frameworks).
  • Experience with Storyblok.
  • Agency experience and eCommerce knowledge.
