Quality Assurance:

• Review design files (Figma) and ensure alignment with the final build in a staging environment.
• Conduct thorough pixel-perfect visual inspections to ensure design integrity across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Verify front-end and back-end functionality to ensure consistency with design and project specifications.
• Test website functionality, including forms, features, animations, and interactive elements.
• Ensure consistent performance and appearance across all major browsers and devices.
• Troubleshoot and report any inconsistencies or performance issues specific to browsers or devices.
• Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and areas of improvement.

User Acceptance Criteria:

• Write detailed user acceptance criteria for projects and individual tasks based on requirements and briefs from Project Managers.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on usability and functionality during design and development phases.
• Compile QA reports outlining the overall project health, with documentation of issues, tests performed, questions, and recommendations.

Automated Testing (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Write and maintain automated test scripts, especially for Smoke Tests, to ensure the functionality and stability of web applications.
• Perform both UI and API automation testing where applicable.

The QA Engineer is expected to have the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role within web development or a digital agency environment.
• Strong proficiency in headless platform testing.
• Extensive experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Proficiency in comparing design files and prototypes (Figma) to live or staging websites.
• Experience with automated testing, including writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Experience with testing platforms and identifying front-end issues using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding pixel-perfect design implementation.
• Good understanding of UX/UI, including both technical and design perspectives.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience in writing user acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with testing complex business logic and sports betting applications is a big plus.
• QA Engineer certifications, such as ISTQB, are advantageous but not required.
