The QA Engineer will be responsible for the following one of these tasks:

Quality Assurance:

• Review Figma design files and compare them against the final build in a staging environment.
• Perform thorough pixel-perfect visual inspections to ensure design integrity across all device types (desktop, tablet, and mobile).
• Verify all front-end and back-end functionality to ensure consistency with design and project requirements.
• Test website functionality, forms, features, animations, and interactive elements.
• Ensure consistent performance and appearance of the website across all major browsers and devices.
• Troubleshoot and report any inconsistencies or performance issues specific to particular browsers or devices.
• Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and areas of improvement.

User Acceptance Criteria:

• Write thorough user acceptance criteria for projects and individual tasks based on the given requirements and briefs from Project Managers.
• Collaboration and Reporting.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on usability and functionality during design and development phases.
• Compile QA reports outlining the overall health of the project, with clear documentation of issues, tests performed, questions and recommendations.

Automated Testing (nice-to-have):

• Write and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and stability of web applications, especially for general Smoke Tests.

The QA Engineer is expected to have the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in eCommerce, web development, or a digital agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Centra, Magento and CMS platforms, such as Storyblok and/or Contentful.
• Knowledge of any email marketing platforms is beneficial.
• Proficiency in comparing design files & prototypes (Figma) to live or staging websites.
• Experience with marketing & transactional email testing.
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to identify front-end issues.
• Knowledge of Project Management tools such as ClickUp and/or Asana is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding pixel-perfect design implementation.
• A good eye for UX/UI, understanding both technical and design perspectives.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with writing user acceptance criteria.
• Experience with writing test scripts in tools such as TestLodge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies is nice to have.
• QA Engineer Certifications such as ISTQB are nice to have.
