ERP Project Leader

Responsibilities

The ERP Project Leader will be responsible for the following one of these tasks:

  • Business Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of current business processes and identify gaps with the help of team members and the software vendor.
  • Process Design & Management: Design processes and tasks that may need to remain “offline” and restructure processes as needed. Define data-entry rules in collaboration with team members.
  • Implementation Planning: Develop a comprehensive implementation plan with the software vendor to ensure all aspects of the ERP transition are covered.
  • Administration Support: Provide support to the ERP team for administrative tasks related to the project, including user onboarding.
  • User Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for over 50 users, ensuring they are adequately trained and prepared for the new system.
  • Implementation & Go-Live Management: Oversee the implementation and go-live phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Requirements

The ideal ERP Project Leader is expected to meet these requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in implementing and supporting business software (ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the garment business is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
  • Well-versed in networking, file sharing, and database management.
  • Analytical Skills: Expert ability to connect business processes with system steps and identify potential issues early.
  • Strong organizational skills with clear communication and explanation abilities.
  • Meticulous note-taking and adept at maintaining a stringent task list.
  • Team player with an easy-going personality and the ability to mingle well with others.
